Notice of Board of Director Nominees
Pursuant to Article IV of the Heron Creek Community Foundation ByLaws, notice is hereby given to all members of the Foundation regarding the nominations for election to the Board of Directors, which will take place at the annual meeting on January 31, 2023. The following individuals have been nominated for the class of 2024 to serve a three-year period ending on December 31, 2026.

- Dave Sobecki
As noted in the by-laws, additional nominations may be submitted through a petition containing signatures of at least twenty percent of the members in good standing on the date submitted (approximately 40 signatures), provided it is submitted to the President not less than twenty-five days prior to the annual meeting. Voting for Directors shall be by secret ballot if there is more than one candidate for any seat, with a plurality of the votes cast being sufficient for election.
Proposed By-Laws Change
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors has proposed a change to the By-Laws, wherein any reference to HCCF being a donor advised fund of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation be removed and we replace it with the fact that we are now an independent 501(c)(3) organization. A vote on this by-laws change shall take place at the annual meeting on January 31, 2024.
