Heron Creek Community Foundation Ian Update
The Heron Creek Community Board of Directors has been diligently working on ways to help our North Port residents within the federal guidelines and by-laws.
Over the weekend we supplied several hundred hot dogs to the HCG&CC staff, Brightview, and a local food bank.
To aid on an individual North Port resident basis, one of our silent auction donors has repositioned the donations for sale and has collected over $12,100 to date, to be distributed next week.
Our board has a committee actively working on reaching out to determine where the greatest and most critical needs are for North Port residents and will look for ways to make an impact on those needs within our guidelines.
