After retiring from a career in relocation management, my husband and I decided to retire to Florida. Since we had several friends already living in Heron Creek, the choice to move here was an easy one.
What wasn’t easy, was what to do with all that free time. I decided I wanted to help the community and town, so I got involved with the Foundation. I worked on several golf tournaments and was elected to the Board in 2015 and appointed Membership Chair for three years. I have continued to be involved with membership in an administrative role.
I am honored to have been asked to again be a member of the Board and look forward to helping the Foundation achieve its goal of improving the quality of life for our North Port neighbors in need.
