Jeff Ward has been a resident of Heron Creek for approximately four years, and he has been very active on several Foundation committees. He has served on the golf tournament committee for the last 2 years, and he organized the Thursday night skills challenge, which was a big success in 2025. Jeff was also responsible for recruiting sponsors and foresomes for the tournament and he played a major role in the post tournament festivities, including the silent auction and raffle. His efforts on the 2025 golf tournament committee led to our most successful golf tournament fundraiser in the history of the Foundation.
Jeff is from the Lake Mahopac region of Carmel, New York, which is considered part of the New York City Metropolitan area, where he served on the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department for more than a decade, and he spent three years as an officer of that organization. He was also an original member of the Mahopac Fire Department Dive team. During his tenure with the Mohapac Volunteer Fire Department, he served as chairman of their annual golf tournament on several occasions.
Jeff’s work experience includes 45 years as a radiologic technologist which culminated as the Director of an outpatient clinic in New York. He is now fully retired and enjoying life in the Heron Creek community.
