Victoria Zingler, Director - Nominee

Term Expires: 2028

Victoria grew up in a small town on the border of Pennsylvania and New York and spent her high school years in Texas, eventually settling in the Finger Lakes area of New York state.

She has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in literature. She spent her career in two large corporations, with the majority at Corning Incorporated, Corning, New York,  in Finance and Control management. After almost twenty-years she forfeited her career to be at home raising two sons. As a Career Mom, Victoria volunteered in multiple non-profit organizations that needed dedicated time in guidance, business skills, and leadership. She spent several years in multiple officer positions on local boards of the church, museum, YMCA, and other children centered non-profits. Her most lengthy position on a board was ten years as an officer and Vice President of the Corning-Painted Post School Board and Chair of the Budget Committee. Victoria found the school board position to be the most rewarding, though perhaps the most complicated, but working to better situations for children in whatever capacity was needed is where her passions reside. Attending the Foundation meeting when the grants were awarded heightened Victoria’s interest in the Foundation and its commitment to community and specifically children’s needs.
