The 2026 Annual meeting of the Heron Creek Foundation membership was held on Wednesday, January 28th at the heron Creek Golf & CC, and there were approximately 75 people in attendance. The attendees included local dignataries from the City of North Port, the Heron Creek Development Company, Media Representatives and 24 Grant Recipients.
During the opening session, Foundation President Kevin Smith and Grant Committee Chair Rick Bliss presented grants totalling $190,230 to 24 non-profit organizations serving the citizens of North Port. Click here for details on the 2025 grant recipients.
